A creative practice, always growing
Artistry across scale, material, and story.
My work ranges from large, story-rich projects to small, carefully finished keepsakes. The scale and materials change with each idea; curiosity, research, and hands-on practice are part of every piece.
Layer, texture, and depth
Resin and mixed-media artwork give me ways to build layered details into heirlooms and personalized keepsakes.
More than one way to make
Some work brings together metal, glass, wood, and elements from nature. I choose materials to suit the piece and the story it carries.
Why metal flake?
I choose automotive-grade metal flake for its quality and lighter weight. It stays suspended through the resin instead of pooling at the bottom, keeping the finish even throughout the piece. It is made for automotive finishes exposed to outdoor conditions, so it offers the durability I want in art meant to last. I use automotive paint for the same reason: it is formulated for a tougher, longer-lasting finish. These choices affect both the materials cost and the care behind the finished work.
Learning is part of the making.
When I take on a technique that is new to me, I research it, practice it, and keep learning as I work. Wire wrapping is one skill I’m developing now. Each project helps me strengthen my technique and make more informed choices for the next one.
That process is part of my creative practice: staying curious, being willing to learn, and letting experience shape stronger work over time. Thoughtful material choices, research, practice, custom details, and careful finishing all contribute to the time and value behind a piece.
